Mandarin Foundation Class
For children ages 3–7 with little or no Mandarin experience.
Our Mandarin Foundation Class introduces children to Chinese through an immersive, joyful, and culturally rich environment. Rather than memorizing vocabulary, children naturally acquire the language through stories, songs, movement, hands-on activities, art, and meaningful conversations.
Inspired by Montessori principles, each lesson encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence while helping children build a strong foundation in listening, speaking, and everyday communication.
Beyond language, children are introduced to the beauty of Chinese traditions, festivals, literature, and values, nurturing not only language skills but also character, creativity, and cultural appreciation.

Early Literacy Pathway
For children ages 4-8 with basic Mandarin exposure who are ready to begin reading and writing Chinese.
The Early Literacy Pathway supports children as they transition from oral language to literacy through a carefully sequenced and engaging curriculum. Students develop Chinese character recognition, early reading comprehension, handwriting, and practical language use while continuing to strengthen speaking and listening skills.
Lessons incorporate classical stories, picture books, calligraphy, cultural traditions, and creative projects, allowing children to experience Chinese not simply as a language, but as a living culture.
Our goal is to cultivate confident, thoughtful learners who develop both language proficiency and a lifelong appreciation for Chinese culture, beauty, and values.

Conversational Mandarin Pathway
For children ages 5+ with some Mandarin exposure who are ready to build confidence using Mandarin in real conversations.
The Conversational Mandarin Pathway supports children as they move from understanding familiar words and phrases to using Mandarin more independently in meaningful communication. Students strengthen listening comprehension, expand functional vocabulary, develop increasingly complete sentence structures, and learn to participate in natural back-and-forth conversations.
Lessons incorporate interactive games, role play, partner activities, guided conversations, stories, and real-life language scenarios, giving children frequent opportunities to use Mandarin with both their teacher and peers.
Rather than simply memorizing vocabulary, children learn to connect familiar words and sentence patterns, apply them in new situations, and gradually express their own ideas with greater confidence and independence.
Our goal is to help children move beyond knowing Mandarin to confidently and naturally using Mandarin to communicate.
